RF-002 Update

Its been awhile since the last update.  Production molds are currently being worked on for the RF-002 Skyfall Upgrade.  Actual production will start within the week.  Once the first batch is ready, preorders on TFW2005 and Cybertron.ca will be filled first, before the public sale is announced.  A new update will be put up at the end of the week with photos of the final kit.

Lucky draw for Skyfall?

For those that have been collecting TF figures for years now, you might be aware of “lucky draw” items in Japan.  Ususally, their given away through a drawing from a magazine, being a very limited or a one of a kind variant or repaint.  They also released lucky draw figures through retail, for example, Black Fire Convoy, which was packed in a regular Fire Convoy box.

Would you be interested in a lucky draw item for Skyfall?  Feel free to leave your response on what you would like to see, or vote for some of the ideas on the new poll, to your right.  If a lucky draw item is made, it will be randomly given away, and only a small number of this will be produced.

Finished Retro Axes

Here are some photos and info on the first casting project, the Retro Axe for G1 Prime.  Below are the two versions.  A show accurate design from the original G1 pilot, and a Reissue design.  The axes are hand finished, with a polish.  These are garage kit style items, so colors and other details vary from each individual axe.  Current batch of the axes are available to Cybertron.ca members.  The reissue axe is a limited run, until the mold is no longer good to use.

About the reissue style axe.  This is not a recast.  If you need an identical axe, its best if you look else where.  This version was created from photos provided of the original.  When compared side by side, there are differences to the design and size.

Classics Ravage Missiles v1

Hey guys. Wanted to share photos of a personal project. When Classics Ravage was first revealed, we were told he could have the G1 Ravage missiles attached, which was very cool. Sadly, I don’t have a G1 Ravage. So this led me to create my own Classics style missiles for my Ravage.

The material I had these made in are hard to sand. So it ended up having a rough finish. Due to this, I’m going to get a second pair made. In the mean time, here are some photos of the first version.

Retro Axe Prototype

Wanted to share painted prototype photos of my first project I’ll be releasing. Its a show accurate style Energon Axe for G1 Prime.  Someone asked me about recreating the reissue axe for them.  I decided to give it a shot, and made two versions. I originally wanted an axe for myself anyways, but one that was accurate to the cartoon design.

Below are painted versions of the prototypes. They have a rough texture to them, due to the way their created. The final axes will be smoother, and come in translucent orange. Right now, this is just to show the prototypes. My G1 Prime is MIA, and I’ve kept my New Year Convoy MISB. So G2 Prime had the honors to showcase the axe.
